Vintage Hamilton Model 17 Pocket watch, 950B This Hamilton Model 17 railroad approved pocket watch is powered by a 950B movement and encased in a 10K gold filled Star case in very good condition.  The movement serial number makes this an estimated 1957 production year. The Hamilton 950B movement is a highly regarded movement, not only because of the railroad grade status but also because of the relative ease to service. The watch presented hear has 23 jewels and is adjusted to 6 positions. This Openface pocket watch is sized 16s with a squat pendant with the bar over crown and includes a sunk dial in Melamine with a lever set. Obtaining a surviving example of a melamine dial in excellent condition like this watch is challenging. Not only is this an attractive pocket watch in excellent condition, it remains a highly accurate time keeper.  This watch should appeal to both collectors new to pocket watches or to long-term collectors of pocket watches.
