Journe Boutique Edition Tourbillon Souverain Vertical: Launched to mark the 20th anniversary of Journe’s historic tourbillon wristwatch, the Reference TV fundamentally reimagines the tourbillon for the modern wrist. While traditional tourbillons were engineered for pocket watches held vertically, François-Paul Journe turned the mechanism 90 degrees, ensuring optimal gravitational compensation whether the watch is resting flat, on its side, or actively worn. This specific iteration pairs a warm, 18k rose gold case surrounding a mesmerizing black dial decorated with silver counters. Visible through the exhibition caseback is the manual-winding Calibre 1519. In signature F.P. Journe fashion, the movement baseplates and bridges are crafted entirely from solid 18k rose gold, meticulously finished with circular Geneva stripes, polished bevels, and pegut-milling. This piece is fitted on a brown alligator strap and is secured with an 18k rose gold deployant buckle.
